JOHN XXIII
By choosing the name John XXIII, Roncalli surprised everyone because for more than 550 years no pope had used that name. The last time the name John XXIII had been used was in 1410 by Baldassar Costa, an illegitimately elected antipope. He was deposed by the Council of Constance on May 29, 1415. Throughout the history of the Catholic Church there have been 41 illegitimate popes called antipopes. These men were either imposters or were uncanonically elected, making them illegitimate successors of St. Peter. The name John XXIII was considered unsuitable because “the last claimant to the name was an ex-pirate who had massacred, cheated and perjured his way to the papacy”
“One wonders why Angelo Roncalli chose to take the name of such a scandalous character.” Fr. Charles-Roux said, “I’m quite sure John XXIII chose this name, the name of an antipope of the fifteenth century, quite consciously, to show he had been irregularly elected.” Roncalli’s use of the name John XXIII should have raised red flags to those familiar with Church history and caused Catholics to
seriously question his pontificate and actions.

FROM THE LETTERS OF CARDINAL EUGENE TISSERANT WHO WAS DEAN OF THE COLLEGE OF CARDINALS WHEN
JOHN XXIII WAS “ELECTED:”
“THE ELECTION OF RONCALLI WAS DONE QUICKLY…IT WAS DISCUSSED AT NUMEROUS MEETINGS…IT IS COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS TO SAY THAT ANY CARDINAL WOULD HAVE BEEN ELECTED. BECAUSE OF SECRECY, I CAN SAY NO MORE.”
IN ANOTHER LETTER, CARDINAL TISSERANT TOLD A PRIEST TEACHING CANON LAW THAT: “THE ELECTION OF JOHN XXIII WAS ILLEGITIMATE BECAUSE IT WAS WILLED AND PLANNED FOR BY FORCES ALIEN TO THE
HOLY SPIRIT.”
This confirms that Roncalli’s “election” was programed by infiltrators and traitors, and therefore invalid. And, as some French bishops said at the time, Roncalli was himself an antipope, and a precursor to the Antichrist.
