Dear Parishioners and Friends of Holy Family,
We wish to inform you of an update to our main telephone system at (844) 435-3858. In our ongoing effort to ensure that your calls are received and addressed in a timely manner, we have implemented a new call handling process.
How the New System Works:
When you call the main church telephone number (844) 435-3858, the system will now attempt to reach several designated phone numbers associated with the parish in sequence.
Your call will first be directed to the primary contact. If there is no answer after a short period, the system will automatically try the next designated number. This process will continue through the list of contacts until someone is available to answer your call.
Voicemail Service:
In the event that no one is available to take your call after trying all designated numbers, you will be directed to a voicemail system. Please do leave a detailed message. Rest assured that these voicemail messages are recorded and immediately forwarded via email, along with a transcription of the message, to the appropriate personnel. This ensures that your message is received promptly, even if someone could not answer the phone directly at the moment you called.
Our Aim:
This enhancement is intended to improve our ability to connect with you and respond to your inquiries or needs more efficiently. It helps ensure that calls are not missed and that messages are reliably delivered.
Availability for Other Chapels: For the benefit of other traditional Catholic communities who may find such a system useful, the underlying source code for this call forwarding application has been made publicly available. Any Catholic chapel interested in implementing a similar telephone routing and voicemail solution can find the necessary files and instructions hosted on GitHub at the following address: https://github.com/toledo-labs/hf-call-forwarding.
Contacting the Priests:
As always, for specific pastoral needs such as BAPTISMS, MATRIMONY, EXTREME UNCTION, CONSULTATIONS, AND SICK CALLS, please continue to contact Fr. Molina or Fr. Sellner directly using their telephone numbers as listed in the weekly bulletin. The main church number remains the primary point of contact for general inquiries. We thank you for your understanding as we implement this system to better serve the Holy Family community. May God bless you.
